Nuaire shakes up market with new XBOXER range
Launch of XBC
Nuaire, the UK’s leading manufacturer of energy-efficient ventilation systems, has announced the launch of its new range of packaged heat recovery products; the only products on the market to have been independently tested and approved by the Building Services Research and Information Association (BSRIA).
The new XBOXER XBC range of commercial heat recovery units is especially suited to the needs of schools and education providers and is the first of Nuaire’s products to include ‘Ecosmart2’ controls, a new building management system that has been developed through a unique collaboration with Trend Control Systems, a major international manufacturer and supplier of Building Energy Management Systems (BEMS).Combining supply and extract in one unit, the XBC range works very efficiently and quietly to deliver fresh tempered air into occupied areas while displacing the stale air to create a healthy and comfortable learning environment.
The new range boasts the smallest and most compact design available on the market by duty, suitable for modern ceiling voids in schools as well as other commercial applications such as hospitals and offices. It also offers the highest efficiency ventilation available with 95% heat exchange as well as reduced noise through its patented double skinned wall construction.
The XBC range is the only range that is guaranteed to meet the specifications set out in both the Building Bulletin 93 'The Acoustic Design of Schools' and the Building Bulletin 101 ‘Ventilation and Air Quality in Schools’ – as tested independently by BSRIA.
“This fantastic new product range is the result of feedback from our own consultants as well as users of our very successful and previously market-leading XBOXER range. We have taken our customers’ comments and suggestions on board and have worked closely with experts such as education industry regulation bodies to create a range of products that are not only the most compact but also the quietest and most energy-efficient units on the market.”
“In fact, we are so confident that our units, when used as part of a Nuaire system along with a matching attenuators will meet the noise criteria of BSRIA’s report, that we provide our customers with a guarantee that the noise levels will meet BB93 standards. No other ventilation provider can confidently offer this.”
Nuaire’s XBC range is created entirely in the UK; from the design and materials through to manufacture and assembly, making the units better value for money with shorter lead-times for installation.
As Caroline explains, “Being based here in the UK with a warehouse full of stock gives us a distinct advantage over our competitors as we are able to offer next day delivery on the XBC range. Our new range demonstrates Nuaire’s commitment to providing innovative, cost effective and efficient product solutions to meet the wide ranging needs of our customers.”
There are five models in the new XBC range, all of which will be available for delivery from the end of January.
