The ECO Difference

How the MEV-ECO compares to the MEVDC

By Claire Baldwin, Communications Marketing Executive, September 2020

It was in 2013 that Nuaire launched the original MEVDC unit. Designed to be as discrete as possible while still providing high performance power, the unit has been a sworn favourite for many property managers and owners across the country.

Part of the MEV unit range, the MEVDC is a quiet, energy-efficient, low depth central extract system, which can be mounted horizontally or vertically in the home. At only 190mm deep, the unit can easily fit into the void of most ceilings whilst maintaining up to 80 l/s extraction rates.

Where the MEV-ECO compares is in its ability to take all of the benefits of the MEVDC and compact them into a slimmer unit, whilst maintaining high performance power, low SFPs, and very little noise.

The MEV-ECO utilises the latest in fan technology, integrating the high performance power of a DC fan with the energy efficiency of an AC fan. It is low profile at 125mm in depth, quiet, and can ventilate the entire property up to 6 bathrooms without additional extract fans. The MEV-ECO can be mounted in any orientation and offers an incredibly flexible and hassle-free installation.
