Nuaire’s Drimaster-Eco range is the market-leader in Positive Input Ventilation, or PIV.  We invented this technology back in 1972, and now have been curing damp and creating healthier homes for 50 years. Drimaster-Eco is now installed in over 1 million UK homes!

Condensation dampness is a fast-growing problem

It’s estimated that 1 in 5 UK homes are poorly ventilated, leading to problems with damp, mould growth and poor indoor air quality. We have a proven solution. Introducing Drimaster-Eco, aka ‘Nellie’.

Everyday activities like cooking on a gas hob, using cleaning and beauty products, and even lighting candles, can produce harmful pollutants that, once released, can remain inside the home damaging our health. Nitrogen dioxide, Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), formaldehyde and particulate matter are just some of the chemicals and particulates that are given off by burning fuel, from new furniture, and from spraying products. Radon gas is another harmful pollutant that is present in up to 30% of UK homes.

It’s no wonder indoor air can be up to 50 times more polluted than the outside air, increasing our chances of developing serious illness, including heart disease and cancer.

What Is Positive Input Ventilation?

Positive Input Ventilation, or PIV, is a simple yet powerful strategy that brings fresh, filtered air into the home at a continuous rate, forcing out stale, humid air.  It DILUTES, DISPLACES AND REPLACES the air inside the home, curing condensation dampness and improving the air quality

We have ranges for homes with and without lofts, from bungalows and apartments to three-story homes. The next generation of PIV, Drimaster-Eco uses 20% less energy than the competition and boasts hall-control via the sleek, round diffuser for easy operation. Occupants can save energy and improve air quality with a range of wireless sensors and switches.

Damp and Disrepair Claims

In order for disrepair to occur, it is assumed that the property was firstly provided in a ‘good’ state. With this being the case, disrepair can occur as a result of condensation developing, leading to mould growth. This makes the property unsuitable for the tenants to continue to live in and then lead to the cost of fixing the issue and potentially rehousing the tenants in the interim or permanently.

Providing correct ventilation within homes along with detailed information on how to continuously ventilate the home can stop this from occurring.
