Nuaire celebrates long service and a people-first culture built over decades

Nuaire celebrates long service

Indoor air quality and ventilation manufacturing specialist Nuaire has celebrated the exceptional loyalty and dedication of its employees at a long service awards event – a powerful reflection of a workplace culture that has been built and sustained over generations. The celebration, attended by 60 colleagues, was held at Nuaire’s home town of Caerphilly, South Wales, close to its headquarters.

Presented by Nuaire Managing Director, Meirion Richards, the event recognised employees who have reached major service milestones, with particular emphasis on those who have dedicated 25 years or more of their careers to Nuaire. During his speech, Meirion highlighted how rare such loyalty has become, noting that more than 70 Nuaire employees have now achieved 25 years’ service or more, representing around 12% of the workforce.

Installed earlier this year, a large long-service plaque at Nuaire’s offices lists those people who have given 30 years’ service to the company, serving as a lasting reminder of the individuals who have played a vital role in shaping the business. The event also paid tribute to colleagues retiring after decades of service, with thanks extended to whose combined contribution represents almost a century of experience!

Nuaire has been holding long service celebrations for many years, reflecting a business culture that actively supports long-term careers. Founded in 1966, the company has grown into one of the area’s largest employers, with generations of families working at the business and a strong focus on progression, skills development and employee wellbeing.

That commitment extends well beyond recognition events. In recent years, Nuaire has invested heavily in workplace welfare, recognising that long service is underpinned by employees feeling supported, valued and cared for. Initiatives include on-site access to an Occupational Health Therapist and Physiotherapist, trained mental health first aiders, and a comprehensive employee welfare programme developed across the wider Genuit Group.

Commenting on the event, Meirion Richards said “this celebration is about more than milestones alone: it’s about recognising the people who have helped build Nuaire into the company it is today, and reinforcing a culture where loyalty is earned through genuine investment in employees.”
