Sustainability is quickly becoming a worldwide priority, with most organisations now embracing it as a fundamental responsibility
In 2024 alone, Nuaire removed 2000 tonnes of carbon from its product portfolio. We did this by making several changes, including implementing careful material reduction and material substitution. As we look to the future, we remain confident in our ability to adapt to an evolving sustainability landscape, while staying focused on our ambition.
Sustainability is embedded into how we design products, manage our operations and support our customers
We recognise that ventilation manufacturers have a responsibility not only to improve indoor air quality, but also to reduce environmental impact across the full product lifecycle.
At our Caerphilly facility, we operate under strict environmental controls and have implemented wide-ranging initiatives to reduce waste and emissions. These include achieving zero waste to landfill through comprehensive recycling and energy-from-waste programmes, introducing advanced recycling stations across the site, reusing and responsibly recycling batteries, and investing in timber compaction systems that significantly reduce transport emissions. These actions contribute to measurable carbon savings while fostering a culture of accountability and pride among employees.

Leading the way in sustainability with XCarb®

Leading the way in sustainability, we are proud to be the first UK ventilation manufacturer to switch to this innovative steel, which will result in a 64% reduction in CO2 emissions on these products within the first year alone, compared with the same steel manufactured via the conventional steelmaking route.
