Sustainability is embedded into how we design products, manage our operations and support our customers

We recognise that ventilation manufacturers have a responsibility not only to improve indoor air quality, but also to reduce environmental impact across the full product lifecycle.

  • The UK Passivhaus standard is built around five key principles that ensure comfortable indoor environments whilst ensuring low energy consumption.

  • Magnelis® steel-based ventilations systems are now being made from XCarb® recycled and renewably produced steel.

Our People and Culture

At the heart of Nuaire are our people. With over 500 employees, many of whom are based at our Caerphilly site, we are proud to be one of the region’s largest employers and a company where generations of families have built long and rewarding careers. Around 10% of our workforce has served for more than 25 years, reflecting the loyalty, pride and shared purpose that define our culture.

We invest heavily in development and progression, offering apprenticeships, internships, graduate schemes and leadership programmes that support colleagues at every stage of their careers. As a member of The 5% Club, we are committed to ensuring a significant proportion of our workforce is engaged in “earn and learn” opportunities, consistently exceeding the national benchmark. Internal communications, employee engagement surveys and clear career pathways ensure that every colleague understands how their role contributes to the wider business strategy.

Wellbeing and safety are equally important. From onsite occupational health support and mental health first aiders to flexible working initiatives and financial wellbeing schemes, we strive to create an environment where people feel supported, respected and empowered to perform at their best.

Equality, Diversity and Inclusion

We believe that diverse perspectives make stronger businesses. Nuaire is committed to building an inclusive workplace where everyone can bring their authentic selves to work and feel confident that their voice is heard. Working closely with Genuit Group’s Culture and Diversity & Inclusivity teams, we continually review our policies, behaviours and leadership approaches to ensure they promote fairness, opportunity and respect at every level of the organisation.

Practical initiatives include company-wide training on inclusive language, enhanced maternity and paternity benefits, sponsorship and participation in local Pride events, and targeted support for under-represented groups in construction and manufacturing. We actively collaborate with schools, colleges and universities to inspire the next generation into engineering and manufacturing careers, helping to broaden access to the industry. Leadership representation has become increasingly balanced in recent years, reflecting our commitment to meaningful, measurable change rather than token gestures.

Community and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

As a long-established employer in South Wales, we understand the importance of giving back to the communities in which we operate. Our CSR activity spans education, health, equality and environmental stewardship. We support local initiatives and events, work with educational institutions to develop future talent, and contribute to regional economic growth through responsible employment and procurement practices.

Beyond direct community engagement, our products themselves play a social role. Technologies designed to prevent damp and mould, improve ventilation and enhance indoor air quality contribute to healthier living conditions in homes, schools and public buildings. By combining responsible manufacturing with solutions that improve quality of life, we aim to create positive impact both inside and outside our organisation.

Our Vision

Nuaire’s vision is simple yet ambitious: to create cleaner, healthier indoor environments while operating as a responsible, forward-thinking manufacturer. By investing in people, embracing diversity, reducing environmental impact and continually innovating, we strive to lead our industry in a way that benefits customers, communities and future generations alike. Together, we create sustainable living.
