The Project
Martin Lomas, owner of Gastech, a plumbing and heating installation firm serving Dorset, Wiltshire and surrounds, was familiar with the issues damp and condensation can cause—especially in older properties. But it wasn’t until he moved into a 250-year-old stone cottage himself that he experienced the problem first-hand. “The windows were streaming every morning. We’d need several tea towels just to dry off one window,” he said. “The whole house felt damp, especially in winter.”
Like many installers, Martin was sceptical of products claiming to be a one-stop solution for complex problems like condensation and poor air quality. But after hearing about Nuaire’s Drimaster-Eco Positive Input Ventilation (PIV)system from a former customer and researching it himself, he decided to give it a try.
