Sunwarm
state of the art solar heating system
Sunwarm is the ultimate integrated solar solution for our buildings. Sunwarm converts solar thermal energy to produce hot water, hot air for space heating, air cooling and ventilation as well as improving the indoor air quality by filtering the incoming air; therefore, reducing pollen, other pollutants and condensation. Sunwarm technology combines the use of high efficiency solar air collectors with sophisticated electronics for decision-making and managing distribution of solar energy to maximize efficiency and reduce fossil fuel energy use.The low energy, low maintenance, air handling system, located in the loft, is of light weight yet robust construction. The function of this unit is to optimise energy gain and direct the air in accordance with your required priorities whilst always providing home ventilation normally via a single diffuser located centrally in your home.
Roof mounted, solar air collectors, incorporating a unique absorber material are the main generators of heat for the Sunwarm system. According to your priorities these can be used in various ways:
- The solar air collectors will HEAT YOUR HOT WATER, using photo thermal solar energy (light to heat) provided
free from the sun. This is achieved by passing the heated air through an air to water heat transfer coil - included
in the system. The heated water is then pumped through a solar heating coil within your hot water cylinder.
- HELPING TO HEAT THE HOME by passing air through the solar air collectors and heating it prior to filtering and
introduction into the home.
- During hot summer nights the unique absorber material in the solar panels can cool to temperatures lower than the outside air. By passing ventilation air, drawn from outside, through the solar air panels it can be cooled before filtering, and then INTRODUCED AS COOLER, CLEANER AIR INTO THE HOME.
See The Benefits
Not only will your family enjoy the many benefits that Sunwarm provides, but you can also SAVE AS MUCH AS 50% of the energy used to heat your home and water, even if your home is well insulated and energy efficient.Every Sunwarm unit is fitted with a monitoring device which records what is happening within the Sunwarm system. This data can then be downloaded to a PC giving a complete profile of your system's performance.
