The Pearl of the Middle East

Nuaire recently secured an order for nearly £1/4 million to provide ventilation equipment for the largest real estate project in Qatar, known as the Pearl Qatar.

The Pearl Qatar is a multi billion pound man-made island covering 985 acres of reclaimed land offshore the Arabian Peninsula state of Qatar.

It is Qatar's first international real estate venture, comprising beachfront villas, elegant town homes, luxury apartments, exclusive penthouses, 5 star hotels, marinas, schools as well as upscale retail and restaurant offerings.

Nuaire will be supplying ventilation equipment for the 10 distinct, themed districts which are to be developed over five years in a four phase mixed-use development.

Although the original specification from the main consultant was American in design, Nuaire was able to demonstrate that the quality and performance of their products more than matched the original specification.

This was possible due to the Nuaire's investment in its own AMCA approved test laboratory as well as their product range of axial fans which are certified to the new EN high-temperature standard.

The order was placed through Qatar International Trading, Nuaire's main agent in Qatar.

QIT's client orientated approach and technical expertise is well known throughout the country. The company ensures that the superior level of service which is essential on a project of this size is maintained.

Work is scheduled to start in Sept 2007 and the first residents will move in by December 2007. By 2009 there will be a residential population of about 40,000 people along with guests at the three 5 star hotels and other tourists and visitors.
