- Junior Designer / Graphic Communication Junior
Job Profile
Due to an increase in business activity, a vacancy has now arisen for a Junior Designer within the Marketing Department. The role will involve creation of in-house customer sales literature, product flyers, campaign material, e-cards and promotional materials.
The designer must following the existing Nuaire corporate identity guidelines and work closely with Nuaire’s approved design agencies and PR contacts across the UK to deliver key Marketing Communication projects.Key Responsibilities

- Smoke Ventilation Project Engineer
Job Profile
Due to an increase in business activity a vacancy has arisen for a smoke ventilation project engineer, within the commercial office’s applications engineering team.
Reporting to the Commercial Applications Manager, the role consists of the preparation, processing and submission of quotations and tenders from completed project enquiry forms for all smoke, fume and pollution ventilation supply and install requirements. This role will entail creating feasibility studies, detailed system designs as well as project management of all quotations and orders placed; later including site visits, pre-contract meetings and installation commissioning requirements.
The smoke ventilation engineer will own and manage their quoted projects during its contract lifecycle, updating records in liaison with both internal and external teams, to ensure Nuaire’s offer matches the client’s requirements in terms of specification, performance, pricing and data submission. Initially the role will focus on powered underground ventilation requirements, though this will ultimately expand to include natural ventilation, pressurization systems and corridor / stairwell ventilation. The role will also ensure that the enquiry is technically and commercially compliant within Nuaire’s capability and sales instructions for all standard fan and ventilation products for all market sectors. - Senior Project/NPD Engineer
Job Profile
Due to an increase in business activity a vacancy has arisen for a Senior Project/NPD Engineer.
Reporting to the Head of NPD this role involves leading the design & development of components, assemblies, products and systems from initial concept stage through to detail design and fully manufactured products and systems. The job calls for detailed knowledge & user experience of Radan or Solid Works CAD systems (or similar) and in addition a high level of industry specific design and engineering skills & experience. An ability to design from “first principles” and apply modern design methodologies and techniques and an ability to Project Manage own work load and lead small cross functional teams would be an advantage.
A qualified Engineer with an electro-mechanical bias and experience of Commercial or Residential Fans & Ventilation, HVAC, AHU’s or thermal conditioning is essential together with a working knowledge of sheet metalwork, fans, motors and ancillaries, electronics, controls would be highly advantageous. Relevant industry experience along with an interest in energy efficiency, renewables and innovation is highly desirable.Key Responsibilities
- To lead and execute the Design & Development of assigned NPD Projects.
- Capable of relevant “first principle” calculations & Engineering theory to support Design work.
- Participate and collaborate in the development of product requirements definition and product design proposals and product specifications.
